Voting begins in Poland’s Presidential election

Warsaw, May 18 (QNA) – Voters in Poland began casting their ballots today in the presidential election, in which 13 candidates are competing.
According to the Polish news agency, approximately 29 million Polish voters are eligible to cast their ballots in the elections.
Prominent candidates in the election include Warsaw Mayor Rafal Trzaskowski and conservative and nationalist candidate Karol Nawrocki, who is backed by the Law and Justice party.
Trzaskowski is projected to win and will likely face Nawrocki in the polls again on June 1 if no candidate wins more than 50% of the votes.
Voting will continue from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m..
