MIRPUR ( AJK): August 28: Veteran elderly business community stalwart of and pioneer of hotelier industry in Mirpur Azad Jammu Kashmir and founder head of M/s Hotel Al-Zaman, Sufi Chaudhry Nuhammad Zaman died here on Thursday After prolonged illness. He was 87.

Late Sufi Zaman was elderly brother of Chaudry Muhammad Sideeque, Chairman Azad Jammu Kashmir Zakat Council of the AJK government and ex Chairman of Mirpur Development Authority and uncle of seasoned legal expert Advocate Usman Siddique Ch.

He was laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard here Thursday evening after hundreds of people from all walks of life including political leaders and workers, members of the business, legal and medical fraternity, journalists, social workers and others attended the funeral prayer.
