RKI Network<\/p>\n

The Next Generation (TNG) School marked a historic milestone on 1st February 2025, celebrating 15 years of
\nexcellence in quality education in Qatar. The anniversary event highlighted TNG\u2019s legacy of academic
\ninnovation, community engagement, and its commitment to nurturing future leaders.<\/p>\n

Ms. Shagufta Bakali, Chief Executive Officer, The Next Generation School, delivered the opening remarks,
\nexpressing heartfelt gratitude for the collective efforts of the TNG community. \u201cWhat began with humble
\naspirations has grown into a journey of achievements. Today\u2019s milestone reflects the dedication and
\ncommitment of everyone involved, and we look forward to scaling even greater heights in the years to come,\u201d
\nshe said, reflecting on the school\u2019s growth since its founding in 2009.<\/p>\n

Taking the stage with vibrant energy were the Young Explorers from the EYFS. With remarkable confidence
\nand boundless creativity, these young learners captivated the audience, leaving everyone in awe of their
\ncharm and enthusiasm. Their delightful interaction on technology, futuristic concepts, robots, and space
\nbecame a touching highlight of the event, brilliantly showcasing the nurturing environment that fuels their
\ngrowth. As they proudly unveiled their inventive creations, they truly demonstrated that they are the
\nengineers of tomorrow, brimming with curiosity and innovation. They were followed by a captivating
\npresentation by the Scouts and Girl Guides. They highlighted Qatar\u2019s national identity, emphasizing the
\nnation\u2019s commitment to equality, justice, and prosperity, embracing all with brotherhood and love, and
\nstanding as a symbol of peace and togetherness for the world.<\/p>\n

Mr. Riyaz Ahmed Bakali, Director, The Next Generation School, then delivered an insightful talk on \u201cMy Right
\nto Become Wise.\u201d He elaborated on the idea that, in today\u2019s world, intelligence is often measured in numbers,
\nbut what children truly need is wisdom, the ability to think critically, act ethically, and use knowledge for the
\ngreater good. He emphasized that at TNG, the focus is not only on nurturing intelligence but also on cultivating
\nwisdom. This commitment is evident in the fact that, over the past 15 years, TNG students have consistently
\nachieved top scores in Qatar and worldwide. Additionally, TNG takes pride in its numerous in-house
\npublications, managed by teachers and campus leadership, and its dynamic, year-round Youth Leadership
\nProgram, which empowers students to become future leaders.<\/p>\n

The ceremony was graced by His Excellency Mr. Muhammad Aamer, Ambassador of Pakistan to Qatar, who
\nwas the chief guest for the occasion. In his keynote address, H.E. Ambassador Mr. Muhammad Aamer praised
\nTNG\u2019s firm commitment to education, stating, \u201cFifteen years of steadfast dedication to delivering quality
\neducation is an extraordinary achievement. This milestone stands as a testament to the vision, perseverance,
\nand dedication of the school\u2019s leadership and team members.\u201d He extended his best wishes for continued
\nsuccess in the years ahead.<\/p>\n

The celebration continued with another segment \u2013 The Innovators\u2019 Roundtable. During this primary students
\nexplored the theme \u201cShaping a Sustainable Future.\u201d Winners of the 15th and 16th National Scientific Research
\ncompetitions presented their award-winning projects: Sustainable &amp; Affordable Cooling Pads and Managing E-
\nWaste through Responsible Interactive Whiteboard Disposal. These students shared their inspirations,
\nshowcasing their commitment to sustainable solutions.
\nThe Youth Pioneers segment featured the entrepreneurial talent of secondary students. The Top 4 contestants
\npresented innovative projects, with the winning project, Beeyond Plastic, receiving the Most Enterprising
\nAward, presented by Ms. Daana Al Dafa, Director of Partnership &amp; Business Development at Qatar Manpower
\nSolutions, and H.E. Mr. Farhan Al Sheikh Al Sayed, a distinguished entrepreneur, and philanthropist.
\nSpecial mementos were also presented to several distinguished guests for their gracious presence. These
\nincluded H.E. Mr. Md. Nazrul Islam, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Qatar, and H.E. Mr. Ridwan Hassan,
\nAmbassador of Indonesia to Qatar. The mementos served as tokens of appreciation for their participation in
\nthis memorable occasion.
\nA key highlight of the event was a thoughtful and engaging panel discussion featuring TNG\u2019s leadership,
\nmoderated by Principal Ms. Ailia Rizvi. The campus heads shared insights into the innovative strategies and
\ninitiatives they have implemented at their respective campuses, all aligned with TNG\u2019s mission and vision of
\nacademic excellence and holistic student development. The heads emphasised the practice of empowering
\nteams to lead, innovate, and inspire, expressing gratitude to TNG for fostering leadership and autonomy in
\nshaping the learning experience. This segment underscored the collaborative and forward-thinking spirit that
\ndrives TNG\u2019s continued success in delivering transformative education.
\nThe ceremony also honoured organizations that have been instrumental in advancing Qatar\u2019s education
\nsector, continuing TNG\u2019s tradition of recognizing those who have made significant contributions to
\neducation.The Education Awards were conferred by TNG upon several distinguished entities in recognition of
\ntheir exceptional partnerships and sustained impact on education. Recipients included Expo 2023 – Dr. Fayqa
\nAbdullah Ashkanani- Director of Public Relations, Department, Ministry of Municipality; Sheikh Faisal Museum,
\nrepresented by Mr. Mahmoud Saber \u2013 Education Officer; QD-SBG, received by Mr. Muthanna Al Rashwani \u2013
\nChief Executive Officer; and Kidzania, acknowledged through Ms. Hela Guedoir \u2013 Group Sales Manager. These
\nhonors highlight their dedication to fostering educational growth and innovation in Qatar.
\nThe ceremony continued with a celebration of students\u2019 excellence, as the prestigious Cambridge Outstanding
\nLearners Awards were presented by H.E. Mr. Muhammad Aamer (Ambassador of Pakistan), TNG\u2019s Senior
\nManagement Team, and Mr. Ian Cortez from the British Council. Ayaan Ali Pirzada was honoured as the top
\nstudent in Qatar for Cambridge IGCSE Global Perspectives, Muhammad Ahmed Yasir achieved the highest
\ndistinction in Qatar for Cambridge IGCSE Islamiyat, and Anas Ali Khan secured third place in Qatar for
\nCambridge AS Level \u2013 Best Across Four.
\nTNG also honoured its team members with Long Service Awards, recognising those who have contributed five,
\nten, and fifteen years of service to the school. These awards celebrated the invaluable role of educators,
\nadministrators, and support staff in shaping the school\u2019s success over the years.
\nThe celebration concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Ms. Shahla Riyaz Bakali, Chief
\nAdministrative Officer of The Next Generation School. She expressed sincere gratitude to the Senior
\nManagement Team, Campus Leadership, Teachers, Administrative Team Members, Support Team Members,<\/p>\n

Parents, and Community Members for their steadfast dedication and collective efforts in making TNG a
\ncontinued success over the past 15 years.
\nSince its establishment in 2009, TNG School has become a cornerstone of Qatar\u2019s educational sector, serving
\nTNG serves nearly 2,700 students across 8 campuses, supported by over 450 team members dedicated to
\nfostering academic excellence, personal growth, and social responsibility. As it moves forward, TNG reaffirms
\nits commitment to inspiring future generations and supporting Qatar&#39;s vision of a knowledge-driven society,
\naligning with Qatar Vision 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals.<\/p>\n
