Doha, March 11 (QNA) – The Workers’ Support and Insurance Fund (WSIF) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Al Jazeera Media Institute (AMI) to enhance cooperation in training and qualifying human resources, as well as to advance their media skills.
To mark this occasion, the Director of WSIF’s Shared Service Department, Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Kaabi, underlined the shared values between WSIF and AMI regarding the importance of investing in the human element, which is considered the foundation of any institution or community. He stressed the importance of advancing human capabilities in sync with the requirements of the modern era.
Director of AMI, Eman Al Amri, highlighted that the signing of this MoU was part of efforts aimed at strengthening cooperation with domestic institutions to help them capitalize on AMI’s outstanding media expertise, emphasizing that the memorandum would contribute to achieving shared strategic objectives aimed at advancing the media workforce in Qatar.
Based on this MoU, specialized training courses will be organized in multiple media domains, along with joint workshops to nurture the participants’ theoretical and practical skills, as part of both sides’ commitment to polishing the media skills of the domestic workforce, which will directly contribute to achieving enduring growth for the service of all.
