Takhtbhai: Provincial General Secretary of the Central Organization of Traders and former President of the Mardan Chamber of Commerce, Zahir Shah, currently on a business visit to England, participated in the Business and Youth Seminar organized by the Overseas Business Forum in Birmingham. The seminar aimed to encourage the younger generation toward entrepreneurship and tackle social issues, including the growing problem of ice (crystal meth) and other addictive substances.
Participants at the seminar discussed the impact of addiction and social evils at length. They emphasized that promoting business and modern technology among youth is a key solution to these challenges. Empowering young people through entrepreneurship not only helps combat addiction but also fosters a sense of purpose and business spirit.
During the seminar, Zahir Shah highlighted that drug dealers are enemies of the entire society, not just individuals or families. He stressed the importance of collective efforts to eliminate this menace, stating, “Only through joint steps can we protect the future of our younger generation from destruction.”
He further noted that awareness campaigns are already underway to educate the public, particularly the youth, about the dangers of ice and other substances. Shah also announced that the Mardan Chamber will soon launch a dedicated campaign to fight this growing problem.
The seminar was attended by Overseas Business Forum Chairman Mohammad Farooq Khan, renowned TV artist Kashif Mehmood, executive member of the Mardan Chamber Imtiaz, and other notable participants.
