Hand-Written Version Of World’s Largest Holy Qura’an displayed for pilgrimage At Mirpur-AJK Press Club:

MIRPUR  (AJK): Sept. 08: A unique and marvellous piece of hand-written version Of World’s Largest Holy Quran has been displayed  for 03 days  pilgrimage of general public at the Kashmir Press Club in  Mirpur, Azad Jammu Kashmir State on Sunday.

Our Special Jammu and Kashmir state Correspondent Altaf Hamid Rao reports from Mirpur that this unique biggest  piece of the Holy Quran has been inked by hand, with urdu translation of all the verses of the Holy Book, by veteran religious scholar and caligrahher Pir Imtiaz Haider Shah Noorani Mujadadi, originally a resident of Faisalabad.

Additional Commissioner Mirpur Division  Sajid Aslam Chaudhry  and Life-time Chairman of Tahaffaz e Namoos Risalat (PBUH)  Alhaj Chaudhry Muhammad Riaz Alam Advocate inaugurated the sacred ceremony

at the Kashmir Press Club Mirpur Hall in presences of large number of the pilgrims belonging to all walks of life including the journalist  fraternity.

On this occasion, Pir Imtiaz Haider Shah Noorani Mujadadi, the caligrapher of the world’s largest translation of the Holy Quran, while talking to the media at the inaugural ceremony, said while elaborating the salient features of the is biggest hand-written piece of the Holy Quran, said that this Holy Quran is 41 feet long and 8 and a half feet in width.

He continued that it took 425 days to complete the broad manuscript and three months to assemble it.

” Before this sacred inaugural ceremony in MirpurAJK, it has been taken for public pilgrimage in different cities of Punjab, KPK and Sindh, while in Azad Kashmir, Muzaffarabad and  In the third phase after Rawalakot, Poonch Division.

“Kashmir Press Club in Mirpur Division has been selected for a three-day public pilgrimage, for general public including religious , Islamic scholars from Mirpur surrounding areas, students studying in madrasas and every school of thoughts”, he added.

A large number of people from all walks of life and school of thought  visited  the Kashmir Press Club Mirpur for the general pilgrimage of the hand-written version of the biggest Holy Book of the Muslims, a complete code of life for the entire humanity.

Pir Imtiaz Haider Shah Noorani Mujadadi said that holding a three-day public pilgrimage of the world’s largest copy of the Holy Quran in the Kashmir Press Club Mirpur is a great blessing and honour for the entire humanity in general and entire Muslim ummah in particular.

Praising  the President and members of the  Kashmir Press Club Mirpur Syed Abid Hussain Shah, Pir Mujaddadi said that besides the KPC President Syed Abid Hussain Shah,  Secretary General Sohrab Ahmed Khan and other office bearers and members of the club  deserve congratulations for hostingthat most sanctified ceremony, which, he hoped, will indeed,  shower the blessings of Allah The Almighty, on the Kashmir Press Club and its members besides entire journalist community.

The pilgrimage of the world’s largest hand written book of  Holy Quran, which began on Sunday, will continue for three days till Sept. 10 – Tuesday from 8.00 in the morning to six o’clock in evening daily for above three scheduled days, the KPC President Syed Abid Hussain Shah told media on this occasion.
