Human security the question has no answer, a random person with a gun came suddenly in the street asking for a phone and if we do not give our phone which we bought with our own money then we will risk our life reciprocate to our phone. When we talk about safety in Pakistan the situation is; that anyone can snatch your car, your phone, and even your life. Every motorcycle snatcher is a prepetor and victim at the same time. Their kids are weeping for food and they inflict pain by hurting other innocent lives. Yet nobody dares to care. We don’t have safe water to drink almost 60 percent of our population lack access to safe water. And in some areas, millions of people are deprived of access to even water. The situation is acerbated with the shortage of food availability. Food security is a myth. Almost 24.3 percent of our population is living below the poverty line means they don’t have access to one-time meals in a day. There are stark imbalances in the resources, the rich become richer, and the poor become poorer. We channelize the bulk of our resources to the traditional state-centric security paradigm. Almost three percent of GDP is predominantly allocated for traditional security. We conspicuous oversight our human security by countering the threats of traditional securities such as Indian attacks, Indian hegemony, and Indian missiles.
We as a state fail to protect individual safety and well-being. We as a state fail to provide the rights of the people which they deserve, and even which were promised in our constitution. Even the lawmaker breaks the law. We were threatened by the savior of our rights because in Pakistan lawmaker turned dictator by playing a major role in snatching our rights without letting us know. This is my Pakistan, my Pakistan. We take independence to protect the rights of people where they have the Individual freedom and liberty of doing what they want to do but now we see that there is rights deprivation in Pakistan. Everyone in Pakistan has to play a role to make Pakistan, a country with a legacy that everyone is protected without racism of color, ethnicity, and the level of their earning or wealth. Everyone should be responsible enough to know about rights and duties. Every single mother taught their kids how to be punctual, honest and how to take their rights, and how to care for others’ rights. According to my view, realization of rights and duties can change our whole system.
