Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq has said that well being of people, progress and prosperity of the state was the his government’s first and foremost priority.
Prime Minister Haq made these assertions while talking to members of different delegates who called on him in his home town of Bhimbher district in Mirpur Div. of Azad Jammu Kashmir on Sunday.
The delegation apprised the PM of the grievances of the masses and sought his due role to help address the problems faced by the people in their respective areas.
The PM, on the occasion, listened to their grievances patiently and assured them of the government’s full support and cooperation in addressing their problems.
He said that the government was aware of the masses’ problems. Anwaar said that action was taken against food, flour and timber mafias across the state which will benefit the people as a whole.
He assured that an endowment fund was being established, which will continue to serve the poor and economically less-privileged sections of society.
A delegation of local journalists led by local Kashmir Press Club President Chaudhry Jameel Shafi also called on the prime minister Chudhary Anwar ul Haq and briefed him of various problems being faced by the journalist community.
The PM assured the media men that all the problems of journalists would be solved on a priority basis
