San Francisco, September 3, 2025 (rki.news) – U.S. artificial intelligence startup Anthropic has secured 13 billion U.S. dollars in its Series F funding round, led by ICONIQ, valuing the company at 183 billion dollars post-money.
The round was co-led by Fidelity Management & Research Company and Lightspeed Venture Partners, underscoring strong investor confidence in the company’s rapid growth trajectory.
Anthropic said the new capital will be directed toward scaling its infrastructure to meet rising enterprise demand, advancing AI safety research, and supporting international expansion.
“We are seeing exponential growth in demand across our entire customer base,” said Krishna Rao, the company’s Chief Financial Officer.
The fundraising follows Anthropic’s Series E round in March, which raised 3.5 billion dollars at a valuation of 61.5 billion dollars. Since launching its flagship AI model Claude in 2023, Anthropic has emerged as one of the most competitive players in the global AI sector.
