COPENHAGEN, Oct. 2, 2025 – Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a series of high-level meetings on Thursday with European Parliament President Roberta Metsola, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during the European Political Community Summit in Copenhagen.
According to Pashinyan, his meeting with Metsola focused on Armenia’s democratic reforms, deepening ties with the European Union, and the regional peace agenda. The sides also reviewed the outcomes of the recent Washington Peace Summit and discussed the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project.
In talks with Macron, Pashinyan said they reaffirmed the “strategic partnership” between Armenia and France while exchanging views on regional security and ongoing developments. He expressed appreciation for France’s consistent support of Armenia.
Later in the day, Pashinyan met with Aliyev, where both leaders reiterated their commitment to implementing agreements reached at the Washington Peace Summit, hosted under the initiative of U.S. President Donald Trump.
The Armenian prime minister’s office emphasized that these meetings reflect Yerevan’s efforts to advance peace, regional cooperation, and international partnerships amid ongoing geopolitical challenges.
