H.E Cobsulate General of China Mr. Zhao Shirin visited MNS university of Agriculture Multan. He met with the faculty if MNSUAM who is qualified from various leading universities of China. V.C MNSUAM Prof Dr. ZULIFQAR Ali briefed the guests regarding ongoing and completed R & D project mutually and solely funded by the Chinese Governament. He said MNSUAM in collaboration with Chienese counterpart institutions achieved remarkable achievements in cotton and wheat genetic sequencing which will help us to meet the challenges of climate change. Pakistani scholars qualified from are contributing lot in teaching and research in this university. H.E Zhao Shirin thanked the v.c MNSUAM for organising interacting session with faculty and showed great interest to enhance future collaboration both in faculty exchange as well as offering scholarships to the students for further study in China. He said MNSUAM us one of the leading agri university of South Punjab and we enhance further research abd development of mutual interest. Mr. Zhao also planted a Kinnow plant in the university admin lawn at the end of the meeting. MR.
