Doha: Easakka a wonder , a memoir on K Muhammed Easa , a long time Doha resident and socio cultural visionary leader was released in Doha at a ceremony held at Radio Malayalam studio. The community leaders jointly released the book published by Calicut based Lipi Publications and edited by Dr.Amanulla Vadakkangara.
Indian Sports Centre president E.P.Abdurahiman, ICBF acting president Rasheed Ahmed, KMCC global vice president SAM Basheer, Qatar Indian Authors Forum president Dr.K.C.Sabu, DOM Qatar president Usman Muhammed, Lok Kerala Sabha member Abdul Rauf Kondotty, FCC executive director Habeeburahman Kizhisseri, Gramaphone Qatar director Dr.Rasheed Pattath, Doha beauty centre managing director Dr.Sheela Philip, Good will cargo managing director Noushad, Qatar tec managing director Jebi K John, Momentum media executive director Saifudheen, Ishal Mala Mappila Kala Sahitya Vedi Qatar chapter general secretary Subair Velliyode , Pravasi Malayaly Organisation president Sidhik Cheruvallur, Easakka’s sond Nadir Muhammed Easa, Namir Muhammed Easa and son in law Azad Abdurahiman attended the function.
Radio Malayalam CEO Anvar Hussain chaired the function. Dr.Amanulla Vadakkangara welcomed the gathering. RJ Shifin conducted the event.
The 300 pages book in Malayalam includes memories of Easakka by leading socio cultural leaders including IUML president Panakkad Sadik Ali Shihab Thangal, member of parliament E.T.Muhammed Basheer, music director M Jayachandran, lyricists O.M.Karuvarakkundu, Kanesh Poonoor , singers V.T.Murali, Kannur Shareef , Cybella Sadanandhan , cultural activist Alankode Leela Krishnan and others. A number of articles by Doha based socio cultural figures are also included in the book in addition to a number of memorable photographs.
