DOHA, Qatar • 11 May 2026 – His Excellency Mr. Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi, the Minister of State for Energy Affairs, met with His Excellency Mr. Kenji Yamada, the State Minister of Economy, Trade, and Industry of Japan.
Discussions during the meeting dealt with the impact of the regional conflict on the global energy industry and ways to ensure the security of energy supplies.
His Excellency Minister Al-Kaabi reaffirmed the State of Qatar’s commitment to remain a reliable energy supplier and looked forward to continuing and strengthening energy relations and cooperation with Japan.
