Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi on Monday held telephone talks with several foreign counterparts to discuss the recently reached memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Iran and the United States aimed at ending the conflict and restoring regional stability.
According to the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Araghchi briefed the foreign ministers of Türkiye, Iraq, Egypt, Japan, and Saudi Arabia on the agreement and its implementation framework.
He stressed full compliance with the MoU, calling for an end to hostile actions and saying the United States bears responsibility for ensuring effective implementation. He also reiterated concerns over ongoing destabilizing activities in the region.
Araghchi and his counterparts emphasized continued dialogue and coordination to support regional peace and prevent escalation, underlining the importance of sustained diplomacy for long-term stability.

Turkey’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stressed avoiding provocations and said Türkiye would continue supporting peace and stability efforts.
Iran, the United States, and Pakistan earlier announced the MoU had been finalized after weeks of negotiations and would be formally signed in Switzerland on Friday.
