Abbas Araghchi has returned to Pakistan following a diplomatic visit to Oman, according to Iranian state media cited by Reuters.
The visit is part of a broader regional tour focused on consultations over ongoing tensions and efforts to revive stalled diplomatic talks. Araghchi had earlier travelled to Oman, where discussions centred on regional security and de-escalation initiatives.
Iranian media reported that the foreign minister arrived in Pakistan on Sunday evening, as Islamabad continues to play a key mediating role in indirect engagements between Tehran and Washington.
The development comes amid fragile diplomatic momentum following recent disruptions in planned negotiations. Talks involving U.S. envoys were postponed, while Iran has maintained its position on key issues, including sanctions and regional security arrangements.
