Doha, Qatar – 30 August 2026: Park House English School, The Hamilton International School and Durham School for Girls Doha, part of the International Schools Partnership (ISP), opened their doors today to students and families as the 2026-2027 academic year began across the group’s schools in Qatar.

The first day of term brought together returning learners and new joiners in a carefully planned start to the year, with each school focused on helping students transition smoothly into their classrooms, routines and wider school communities.

Across the three schools, staff have designed the return to campus around belonging, readiness and reassurance, ensuring students are able to reconnect with peers and teachers while families receive the guidance and communication they need at the start of a new academic journey.

John Smith, Principal at Park House English School, commented: “We are very much looking forward to welcoming our students back to Park House for the start of another exciting academic year. We return following another outstanding set of examination results, which once again confirm Park House’s position firmly among the top two British schools in Doha. The new year also reinforces ISP’s emphasis on learning that extends beyond academic results. Each campus will continue to combine strong teaching with pastoral care, creating school environments where students are encouraged to be ambitious, supported in their well-being and guided to grow as confident individuals.

ISP Schools seek to prepare students not only for the academic year ahead, but also for the wider opportunities, challenges and choices they will encounter in the future. ISP recently announced it will award 100 scholarships of up to 100% on annual tuition fees for the 2026 to 2027 academic year, across 10 ISP schools in the UAE and Qatar. The programme will support both existing and new secondary students from Year 7 to Year 12, recognising achievement and potential across the ISP Middle East community.
