Israeli settler groups have reportedly prepared a plan to seize about 100 strategic locations in Area A of the occupied West Bank, according to Israeli media reports. The proposal, said to have been presented to government ministers and officials close to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, outlines coordinated action targeting key sites, including major Palestinian cities.
Palestinian officials condemned the reported plan, describing it as a dangerous step toward further annexation of the occupied West Bank. Israeli forces have intensified raids across the territory since October 2023, with Palestinian authorities reporting more than 1,170 deaths, over 12,600 injuries, and around 23,000 arrests.
