Kashmiri Trade Union leader ch.Mahmood remembers Martyrs of Bahawalpur tregged

MIRPUR:(AJK) Aug 18; President of the Anjuman Tajran Ittehad Group, Chaudhry Mahmood, on the occasion of the death anniversary of former president General Zia-ul-Haq, paid tribute to the late military ruler and highlighted his services to Pakistan.
In a statement issued here on Tuesday on the eve of August 17, Bahawalpur tregedy Chaudhry Mahmood said that General Zia-ul-Haq had rendered significant services for the defence, stability and development of the country. He described his death as a tragic chapter in Pakistan’s history and said that the sacrifices of those who lost their lives in the August 17, 1988 air crash would always be remembered.
He said the nation should honour its martyrs by promoting national unity, peace and stability and by working for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan.
Chaudhry Mahmood also prayed for the forgiveness of General Zia-ul-Haq and all other victims of the August 17 tragedy. He said the business community would continue to play its role in strengthening the national economy and supporting efforts for peace, stability and prosperity in the country
