DOHA: The Cultural Village Foundation Katara will organize a special poetry evening titled “Poems in Tribute to the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani (May Allah have mercy on him)” on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 6:45 p.m. in Building 15 Hall.
The event will feature a distinguished group of poets presenting both classical Arabic (Fusha) and Nabati poetry in tribute to the Father Amir, whose leadership played a defining role in Qatar’s modern development and progress.
Participating poets include Saud bin Hamad Al Thani, Ibrahim bin Hashem Al Sada, Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Sada, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Manai, Bati bin Misfer Al Habbabi, Saeed bin Htail Al Marri, Noura Al Wuhaimed, Moza Abdulrahman Al Musnad, and Mukhtar Mohammed Mukhtar. The evening will be hosted by media presenter Atta Mohammed.
