Chinese automaker Leapmotor has launched its new hybrid vehicle, the Leapmotor B10 Hybrid EV, in Israel, according to Israeli car dealership Samelet Group.
The compact crossover SUV uses range-extended electric vehicle technology, where an electric motor powers the wheels while a 1.5-liter gasoline engine functions only as a generator to recharge the battery when required.
The new model offers a combined driving range of up to 900 kilometres, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds, and has a top speed of 170 km/h.
Leapmotor entered the Israeli market in late 2022 as Chinese electric vehicle manufacturers continue expanding globally.
According to figures from the Israel Vehicle Importers Association, Chinese carmakers sold 77,625 vehicles in Israel during the first half of 2026, marking a 70.8 percent year-on-year increase and highlighting their growing presence in the market.
