Mirpur (AJK): The Executive Committee of the Mirpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI), Azad Jammu and Kashmir, held a special meeting on Tuesday under the chairmanship of President Umar Shehzad Jarral to discuss organizational matters and preparations for the Chamber’s upcoming annual elections.
The meeting began with Fateha for the martyrs of law enforcement personnel and citizens who lost their lives in recent tragic incidents in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Participants prayed for the elevation of their ranks, patience for their bereaved families, and lasting peace and stability in the region.
The Executive Committee conducted a detailed review of arrangements for the upcoming MCCI elections and reaffirmed its commitment to holding the process on time in a transparent, fair, and impartial manner according to the Chamber’s constitution, rules, regulations, and election schedule.
Addressing the meeting, President Umar Shehzad Jarral directed that all necessary preparations should be completed within the stipulated timeframe. He emphasized that transparency, credibility, and fairness would remain the guiding principles throughout the electoral process to maintain the confidence of the business community.
The meeting concluded with prayers for the progress and prosperity of MCCI, the business community, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Pakistan, along with wishes for peace, stability, and economic development.
The participants also expressed their resolve to further strengthen the Chamber’s role in promoting trade, supporting entrepreneurs, and contributing to regional economic growth through effective representation of the business community.
