Doha, November 05 (QNA) – HE Minister of State Dr. Ahmad bin Mohammed Al Sayed stressed that the draft constitutional amendments for 2024 to the Permanent Constitution of the State of Qatar constitute a roadmap for the future of the State of Qatar and a new bedrock for the pillars of national unity.

In exclusive remarks to Qatar News Agency (QNA), His Excellency indicated that the draft constitutional amendments are in line with the vision and wisdom of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani as the participation of Qatari citizens in the referendum reflects the concept of good citizenship and loyalty to the State of Qatar.

His Excellency noted the citizens’ turnout to participate in this significant event, which is an addition to a series of great achievements made during the prosperous era of HH the Amir.

At the conclusion of his statements to QNA, HE Minister of State Dr. Ahmad bin Mohammed Al Sayed praised the great facilities provided by the Ministry of Interior and the General Referendum Committee for citizens to enable them to cast their votes with ease, convenience, and flexibility thanks to the availability of the latest technological means. He noted that the voting process takes only a few minutes despite the large numbers of voters.
