The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly condemned the recent aggressive actions of Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip, particularly in Rafah, a region housing 1.3 million displaced Palestinians. Terming it an extension of the ongoing genocide against Palestinians, the OIC asserts that such actions flagrantly violate international law, including directives from the International Court of Justice (ICJ). The OIC vehemently opposes the Israeli Prime Minister’s threats to escalate aggression, disregarding ongoing ceasefire efforts and UN resolutions. Expressing grave concerns over an impending humanitarian crisis, the OIC calls for urgent international intervention to compel Israel to cease its aggression, ensure Palestinian protection, and uphold pertinent UN Security Council resolutions.
