Beirut, November 24 (QNA) – A Lebanese soldier was killed and 18 others injured as Israeli occupation hit a Lebanese army center on Sunday.

A Lebanese military statement said some of the injuries were critical and the army site was severely damaged.

Over the past hours, Israeli warplanes repeatedly raided several towns in southern Lebanon and Israeli reconnaissance and drone aircraft flew intensively in the area.

Lebanese civil defense crews called for large cranes to help remove rubble from buildings that were being bombed.

The Israeli occupation forces’ strikes against southern Lebanon are going unabated leaving thousands of civilian fatalities and injuries and forcing millions from their homes.

This campaign coincides the Israeli occupation’s relentless genocide on the Gaza Strip.
