BRIDGETOWN, Aug. 7: Pakistan’s cricket team completed its West Indies tour with a positive result, drawing the two-match Test series against the hosts after securing a convincing victory in the second Test.
The series, played as part of the ICC World Test Championship cycle, provided Pakistan an opportunity to test its players in challenging overseas conditions. Pakistan’s squad featured a mix of experienced players and emerging talent.
In the second Test at Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain, Pakistan produced a strong all-round performance to defeat West Indies by eight wickets. Opener Abdullah Shafique played a key role with a match-winning century, while the bowling attack also made important contributions.
The victory ended Pakistan’s long wait for an away Test win and provided confidence ahead of future international assignments.
