Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Energy (Power Division), Sardar Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari, co-chaired a high-level Energy Group meeting with senior Saudi officials in Riyadh to review progress in bilateral energy cooperation.
During the meeting, both sides expressed satisfaction with the progress achieved under the existing framework of energy cooperation and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the strategic partnership between Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The discussions focused on advancing ongoing initiatives, identifying new areas of cooperation, and exploring future strategic projects aimed at enhancing energy security, investment, and sustainable development.
Both sides acknowledged the positive momentum in bilateral engagement and agreed to maintain close coordination to accelerate the implementation of mutually beneficial initiatives. They also expressed confidence that the expanding energy partnership would continue to support the economic prosperity and long-term strategic interests of both countries. The meeting reaffirmed the shared vision of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia to deepen cooperation in the energy sector through innovation, investment, and long-term strategic collaboration.
