MIRPUR ( AJK): , July 20,L ( APP); First phase of polling for election staff in connection with the July 27 General Electionsto 53-seat Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly was completed successfully and peacefully mammoth part of AJK including Mirpur district on Monday.
In Mirpur district, a total of four polling stations were established throughout the district for election personnel, where voting was held according to the prescribed schedule and concluded smoothly. Comprehensive security arrangements were put in place at all polling stations to ensure a safe and orderly polling process.

The District Returning Officer, district administration, and law enforcement agencies maintained continuous monitoring of the electoral process throughout the day. Election staff exercised their right to vote in a disciplined manner, while the overall law and order situation remained completely satisfactory.

Following the close of polling, the process of handing over ballot boxes, election materials, and other relevant records to the respective Returning Officers was initiated in accordance with established procedures. The transfer of election materials is being carried out under strict security arrangements.

Overall, polling for election staff in Mirpur district was conducted in a transparent, organized, and peaceful environment. The successful completion of the process has been widely attributed to the effective coordination and cooperation among the election administration, district authorities, and security institutions
