Doha, September 16 (QNA) – HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met on Tuesday at his Amiri Diwan office with HE Secretary of State of the United States of America Marco Rubio and the accompanying delegation, on the occasion of his visit to the country.
During the meeting, they discussed strategic relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them, particularly in the defense field. They also discussed the most prominent regional and international developments of common concern, most notably the repercussions of the treacherous Israeli attack on Doha, in addition to the future of joint diplomatic efforts to reach a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, release of hostages and prisoners, and de-escalation in the region.
HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani attended the meeting. (QNA)
