Doha, March 19 (QNA) – Qatar Charity, through its office in Bangladesh, has distributed food baskets to underprivileged families and sponsored orphan families in the country. A total of 13,405 people benefited from this initiative, which is part of Qatar Charity’s Ramadan campaign, “Giving Lives On,” supported by generous contributions from Qatar’s benefactors.
Qatar Charity explained in a statement Wednesday that the food baskets were carefully prepared to meet the needs of families for an entire month. The distribution took place in multiple locations, including orphan care centers affiliated with Qatar Charity.
The initiative aims to provide essential food supplies to families, enabling them to prepare daily Iftar meals throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
Special efforts were made by Qatar Charity teams to ensure the baskets reached the most affected families in remote areas, with a particular focus on the elderly, the ill, and vulnerable groups.
