Doha (16/12/2024): On Wednesday, 18/12/2024, the Workers Support and Insurance Fund (WSIF) will host two major cultural events to celebrate Qatar National Day from 3 pm to 9 pm.

The first event will take place at the Asian Town cricket stadium parking area, featuring a musical concert by an Asian band, gift giveaways, safety awareness programs, traditional shows, school performances, and free blood sugar checkups. The second event will be held at Ideal Indian School, with similar activities, including a musical concert, gift draws, safety programs, and cultural performances by school students.

“We’re thrilled to organize these celebrations close to workers and communities, offering them a chance to express their joy on Qatar National Day,” said Khuloud Saif Al Kubaisi, Executive Director of WSIF.

Additionally, from 3 pm to 7 pm, the BEDAR Initiative will hold another event in Al Khor Barwa Workers Recreation Complex. It will feature a musical concert, a national day parade, a workers’ talent show, safety awareness programs, and gift distributions.

Barwa and Waseef will also organize two smaller events for the residents of the Argentine neighborhood and Barwa Al Baraha from 3 pm to 8 pm.

All events are open to the public.
