The Hague, June 07 (QNA) – The State of Qatar took part in sponsoring the 49th Telders International Law Moot Court Competition, held at the International Court of Justice in The Hague, in partnership with Leiden University in the Netherlands.
HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Dr. Mutlaq bin Majid Al Qahtani presented the awards to the top moot court participants in the presence of prominent legal and diplomatic figures, as well as a group of judges from the International Court of Justice.
Qatar’s sponsorship reflects its commitment to supporting international law, enhancing students’ awareness of global legal issues, and encouraging young talent to excel in this field.
The competition is recognized as the largest Europe-wide moot court in general international law. The competition challenges law students to argue a fictitious dispute before the International Court of Justice, thereby developing their legal skills and deepening their understanding of international law.
