Doha, May 06 (QNA) – The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed higher on Wednesday, gaining 144.63 points, or 1.38 percent, to settle at 10,649.25 points.
A total of 189,901,152 shares were traded, with a total value of QAR 487,007,721.404 across 26,609 transactions in all sectors.
Shares of 45 companies increased, while five declined and three remained unchanged.
Market capitalization at the close of the session stood at QAR 637,384,901,409.122 billion, up from QAR 628,361,075,110.018 in the previous session
