Doha, March 10 (QNA) – The State of Qatar has welcomed the agreement to integrate the Syrian Democratic Forces into the institutions of the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic, deeming the move a critical step toward strengthening civil peace, security, and stability, as well as building a state based on institutions and the rule of law.
In a statement on Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the stability and prosperity of Syria require the state’s exclusive control over weapons within a single army that represents all Syrian components, ensuring the preservation of the country’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity.
The Ministry reiterated the State of Qatar’s full support for Syria’s sovereignty and the aspirations of the brotherly people of Syria to freedom, development, and prosperity.
