MIRPUR (AJK): Azad Jammu Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Faisal Mumtaz Rathore will receive a rousing welcome on his first-ever two-day official visit to Mirpur on May 2, officials said.
The prime minister is expected to arrive via Mangla Bridge, where he will be warmly received by local dignitaries, party workers, and supporters. The reception will be led by AJK Minister for Energy and Water Resources Chaudhry Arshad Hussain along with his associates.
Following his arrival, Rathore will proceed to Khari Sharif, where he is scheduled to address a public gathering later in the day. The event, set for 4 pm, is being organized under the leadership of the energy minister and local party leadership.
Sources said the prime minister is also expected to announce a major public development project for the people of the Khari Sharif constituency during his visit. The initiative is anticipated to focus on improving infrastructure and addressing key public needs in the area.
The visit marks an important engagement aimed at strengthening public outreach and highlighting development priorities in Mirpur and surrounding regions.
