Three people were killed and seven others injured in an overnight Ukrainian strike on the Crimean city of Simferopol, according to Sergey Aksyonov, the governor of Crimea.
Aksyonov said on Thursday via his Telegram channel that emergency and operational services are currently working at the scene of the incident and assessing the damage caused by the strike.
He also expressed condolences to the families of those killed and wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the attack.
Authorities have not yet released further details regarding the nature of the strike or the type of weapons used in the incident.
