The United Arab Emirates has undergone a significant cabinet reshuffle, with Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan being appointed as deputy prime ministers. The announcement was made by UAE Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum on Sunday. Sheikh Hamdan, 41, who has been the Crown Prince of Dubai since 2008, will also serve as defence minister. Sheikh Mohammed also appointed two women to the cabinet. Sarah Amiri will serve as Minister of Education, and Alia Abdullah as Minister of State for Entrepreneurship.
