London, December 03 (QNA) – HE Secretary of State for Defense of the United Kingdom John Healey emphasized that the United Kingdom and the State of Qatar enjoy strong and enduring friendly relations, noting that they work together to protect their countries and support peace and stability in the Middle East.

In special remarks to Qatar News Agency (QNA), His Excellency noted that the depth and strength of relations between the two countries is evident in a number of examples, particularly the joint UK-Qatari Typhoon Air Squadron.

In this context, HE the Secretary of State for Defense of the United Kingdom indicated that this joint UK-Qatari Typhoon Air Squadron is the UKs first and only Joint Squadron since World War II.
