Dr. Amanulla Vadakkangara, Doha-based distinguished author, multilingual journalist, academician, and CEO of Media Plus, Doha, has been conferred with the prestigious Global Ratna Award, instituted by the Malayalee Festival Federation (MFF). The award was presented by eminent diplomat, academician, and socio-cultural visionary Ambassador Dr. T. P. Srinivasan at a glittering ceremony held at Crowne Plaza Hotel, Kochi.
The Global Ratna Award recognizes Dr. Amanulla Vadakkangara’s extraordinary and unparalleled contributions to literature, language education, media, and community service at a global level.
Dr. Amanulla recently achieved a rare and historic milestone by becoming the first expatriate author to publish 100 books in multiple languages, a remarkable feat accomplished last month. This achievement stands as a powerful testament to his lifelong commitment to knowledge dissemination, cross-cultural communication, and literary excellence.
The award ceremony witnessed the presence of an impressive gathering of eminent personalities from 52 different countries, reflecting the global stature and relevance of the honour.
Internationally acclaimed for his pioneering work in Spoken Arabic education, Dr. Amanulla Vadakkangara has authored several landmark books that have revolutionized Arabic language learning for non-native speakers. His innovative, learner-friendly teaching methods and publications have benefitted thousands of students worldwide. He is widely acknowledged as a visionary educator who played a decisive role in introducing Arabic as a second language in Indian schools in Qatar, a pioneering initiative that later expanded to almost all Indian schools in the country.

As the Founder and CEO of Media Plus, one of Doha’s leading advertising and event management companies, he has successfully blended creativity with professionalism, making a lasting impact on the media and branding landscape of the Gulf region.
