Pakistan Mango Exhibition attracts huge response in Doha
A showcase of Pakistan’s agricultural excellence, cultural heritage and growing friendship with Qatar
Doha: The 3rd Pakistan Mango Exhibition opened at Souq Waqif’s Eastern Square with an overwhelming response from visitors, diplomats, business leaders and members of the Pakistani community.
The ten-day exhibition has become a major platform showcasing Pakistan’s world-famous mangoes, traditional food products and rich cultural heritage in Qatar.
Jointly organised by the Private Engineering Office Celebrations Committee and the Embassy of Pakistan in Qatar, the exhibition features the largest participation since its launch, with more than 30 Pakistani companies and over 30 restaurants presenting premium mango varieties, seasonal fruits, traditional foods, desserts, juices and innovative mango-based products.
The opening day witnessed the participation of diplomats, officials, business leaders, community representatives and visitors from different nationalities, who appreciated the quality, taste and variety of Pakistani mangoes.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Pakistan’s Ambassador to Qatar Muhammad Aamer in the presence of senior Qatari officials, diplomats, business leaders and members of the Pakistani community.

Khalid Saif Al Suwaidi, General Supervisor of the 3rd Pakistan Mango Exhibition and its Products, said this year’s exhibition marks the largest participation since its launch, with record involvement from Pakistani companies, restaurants and exhibitors.
He highlighted that the exhibition provides an excellent platform to showcase Pakistan’s premium mango varieties, agricultural products and rich culinary traditions to visitors in Qatar.
Al Suwaidi appreciated the cooperation between the Private Engineering Office Celebrations Committee and the Embassy of Pakistan in Qatar, saying their joint efforts have helped establish the exhibition as one of the successful seasonal events at Souq Waqif.
He added that the exhibition goes beyond promoting mangoes, as it strengthens cultural exchange, trade opportunities and people-to-people relations between Qatar and Pakistan.
He invited residents and visitors across Qatar to attend the exhibition and experience the exceptional taste of Pakistani mangoes and a wide range of traditional products.

H.E. Ashraf Khodhaev praised the Pakistani Mango Exhibition as one of the most vibrant and diversified cultural events in Doha.
He said it was an honour to participate in the exhibition organised by Pakistan, a brotherly country. He appreciated the large number of visitors showing interest in Pakistani mangoes, which he described as among the best mangoes in the world.
The ambassador said such cultural events are extremely important as they bring people together and allow communities to share traditions, food and friendship in a positive environment.

Farah, a Palestinian journalist based in Doha, shared her excitement while covering the third edition of the Pakistani Mango Festival.
She said mangoes are among her favourite foods and Pakistani mangoes are among the best she has ever tasted. She appreciated the excellent organisation of the event and praised the Embassy of Pakistan in Qatar for arranging such a successful festival.
She described the exhibition as a wonderful community gathering where people from different backgrounds come together. She highly praised the taste and quality of Pakistani mangoes and expressed her desire to visit Pakistan, especially Lahore and Islamabad, in the future.

Ateeq ur Rashid said his company has been participating in the Pakistan Mango Festival for three successful years.
He highlighted popular Pakistani mango varieties including Chaunsa, Sindhri and Anwar Ratol, saying these varieties are loved not only by Pakistanis but also by people from Arab and other communities living in Qatar.
He invited residents and visitors to attend the exhibition and enjoy Pakistan’s delicious mangoes along with other seasonal fruits, including apricots and pomegranates.

The exhibition presents some of Pakistan’s most famous mango varieties, including Sindhri, Chaunsa, White Chaunsa, Anwar Ratol, Dussehri, Fajri and Lal Badshah, along with other premium varieties.
Alongside mangoes, visitors can enjoy traditional Pakistani food products, desserts, juices and seasonal fruits, offering a complete experience of Pakistan’s agricultural and culinary heritage.

The exhibition continues until July 18 at Souq Waqif Eastern Square and remains open daily from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
